Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and SUP Yoga Instructor

Jackie is a native New Yorker who graduated from the University of Miami in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  She spent several years working in the snowboard industry during winters and the water sports industry during the summers.  After coming to San Diego in 2015 to obtain her yoga teacher certification she embarked on a journey into the wellness field.  In 2020 Jackie earned her Master of Science and Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science (PCHS, formerly PCOM).

Jackie completed internships at the PCHS clinic and the specialty clinic for Veterans, active-duty military, and their family members.  She electively studied Japanese style Acupuncture based on the teachings of Kiiko Matsumoto.  She now specializes in mental health, women’s health, acute and chronic pain management, digestive health, cupping therapy, oriental massage, and herbal medicine. Jackie has also been trained in cosmetic acupuncture.

Jackie is committed to her patients and believes strongly that the relationship between patient and practitioner requires an effort on both parts.  She is passionate about empowering her clients to be involved in the process of achieving their optimal wellness goals through self-awareness and self-care practices.  She believes that acupuncture can be an extremely effective treatment on its own, but she sees the future of healthcare progressing to a state of integration of Eastern and conventional Western medicine.
