Adaptive Yoga: Suitable for most, this class incorporates the extensive use of props (bars, blocks, bolsters, straps, and walls) to support and assist in the practice of Asana to build strength, stamina, and flexibility, and to increase mobility. The class is slow paced in a gentle integrated style that’s easily adapted to modification or increased challenge. Through the use of affirmation, we raise consciousness and awareness and explore the energetic intention of the poses. A classic Yoga meditation technique is taught and practiced along with a unique set of “Happy Exercises” that get the body moving and the spirit uplifted. Great for injury rehab and geriatric students.
Candlelight Hatha Yoga: A 60 minute gentle Hatha class where poses are held for 3-6 breaths, releasing tight muscles and bringing awareness to the body. Accompanied with aromatherapy, soothing music and candlelight.
Christian Yoga: This is Christ-centered class allowing space to be still before God, and let His divine love and peace break through. Utilizing yoga postures to release tension within the body helps you quiet the mind and invites a spiritual experience as much as a physical practice. This class is for everyBODY (we all need it!). No yoga experience required.
Functional Yoga: Join Dr. Jennifer Hudgens for an hour long practice where she will use her experience as a physical therapist to guide you through a gentle practice focused on a different area of the body each week. This class is open to everyone, even if you have current injuries or are brand new to yoga.
Power Vinyasa Yoga: A more advanced Vinyasa Yoga sequence, fluidly moving students through poses, flowing breath to movement.
Power Hatha Yoga: A more advanced Hatha Yoga sequence where poses are held anywhere from 3 to 6 breaths.
Restorative Yoga/Candlelight Restorative Yoga: A 60 minute class that seeks to achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual relaxation, through gentle yoga poses, the use of props, soft lighting and relaxing music. Good for all levels.
Vinyasa Yoga: A 60 minute class where poses are sequenced together in a breath to movement flow.
Vinyasa Yoga Flow - Abdominal Focus: Vinyasa Yoga Flow blended with fun music to motivate you, and cardio & strength training exercises, focusing on building core strength, and working towards those six-pack abs!
Yin Yoga: A 60 minute class that uses postures & conscious breathing, in combination with mental focus, to develop awareness, strength, flexibility, & relaxation.
Yoga Sculpt: Power Yoga blending the use of weights & cardio moves to melt the pounds away!
Yoga Barre: A 60 minute class combining Hatha or Vinyasa style yoga with Barre technique integration using body weight exercises to sculpt and tone your body from head to toe!
Zumba Vinyasa Yoga: An innovative 60 minute class, combining principles of both Vinyasa yoga and cardio dance moves to create a fun, high energy experience. Set to upbeat music and open to all levels!
