Cupping

What is Cupping?

Cupping therapy is a form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin with the application of heated or non heated cups.

Fire Cupping

Fire cupping is an alternative, non-invasive treatment technique that uses special cups placed on the skin to encourage blood flow to damaged areas. This unique therapy is often recommended to patients who suffer from muscular pain, joint pain, skin problems, and/or respiratory disorders.

Medi Cupping

MediCupping™ uses a machined to create the suction and pumping movements that are normally done with manual vacuum pistols, to create a soothing, consistent, and effective treatment without strain on the therapist or client.

Graston / Cupping

Graston is a non-invasive technique that uses specially designed stainless steel instruments to help identify and treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. As the instruments are moved over the affected area and come in contact with the adhesions, they help break up scar tissue and fascial restrictions. This can be added on to a massage or done as a solo treatment.

More commonly known as Fire Cupping, cupping’s effect on muscle tissue is akin to that of a deep tissue massage. Instead of stroking the muscles deeply inward to get them to relax, suction is used to gently pull the muscle tissue upward to help it release. This can be added on to a massage or done as a solo treatment.
