This entry level workshop will introduce you to both the active, strength-based side of acro yoga as well as its amazingly restorative and therapeutic elements. Prepare to take flight as we explore how to efficiently use the strength of our bodies to hold and manipulate the weight of another person into beautiful poses as well as through relaxing, lengthening stretches. Not only is it an extremely empowering physical experience, but also a great way to meet amazing people and it is just plain FUN.
** Absolutely no experience is needed. Nor do you need to be strong, or flexible or have done lots of (or any) yoga. For real. We will be walking you step by step through the fundamental concepts that will make it possible for even the newest of newbs to find success.
*** Bring a friend or come alone! You do NOT need to bring a partner with you to this workshop. We will be working in small groups, not pairs, so that there is always a spotter in each group to ensure safety. Everyone will get a chance to rotate through all the positions and try them all!
